(05/09/06) Hi everyone, Dick here.  I've just returned from California, (a beautiful place you should visit if you get the chance) attending the Pomona, California swap meet.  It's a one day, action packed event  with hundreds of cars coming and going all day and night.  I picked up a couple of cars there and also some in the surrounding area.  I had a great trip and met some very nice people (hi Gib & Len).  Gib has a nice '75 Olds Convertible for sale, get in touch with me if you wish to know more about it.  Cars are getting higher priced every trip (as is everything else, including gasoline!).  A few years back you could buy a nice cruiser for $3,000 to $6,000.  Now prices have doubled or more.  My good friend and auto transporter, Larry Bergstrom (Cross Country Transport 505-453-8982) was there to transport my purchases, on time as he always is.  I recommend him as a great way to move your cars and a #1 guy.  We met up again in Albuquerque where he lives and I was fortunate to obtain some other cars there.

Our recent acquisitions are: 1967 Belvedere I Station Wagon (it seems wagons are getting more popular every year), 1967 El Camino, 1969 Chevrolet Short Bed Step-Side pick up (very nice, needs nothing), 1974 Laguna S.3 454 (I drove this one back), 1967 Nova (fantastic body, but needs paint & interior), 1969 Plymouth Barracuda (Tempa, the previous owner, shed tears over the sale), 1970 Camaro split bumper car and a great 1968 Mercury Montego MX Convertible (a very low production car).

Well that's about it for news this time.  If you wish to know more about any of the cars mentioned here, or for that matter any of our vehicles please email or call and I will be happy to help.  Have a great day everyone.

'Til next time,

Dick

(03/22/06) Sorry the 1967 Plymouth GTX sold before we got a chance to list it on the website.

(03/02/06) We have three news cars in this week, a 1967 Corvair 500, a 1967 Corvair Monza and a 1968 Ford Torino 390.  Watch for more on these cars appearing on the website soon.  If you would like to know more before we get them online then feel free to email, as always we are happy to answer any questions you may have.

(02/19/06) Updated the stock list and Past Sales.

(02/06/06) Not our usual vehicle, but new in this week.  2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder.  Get in early on this sporty convertible and you'll have the full summer season with the top down.

(01/26/06) With Christmas long over and the New Year racing by it seems time for a quick update again.  Thanks to all who have bought cars from us in the last few months.  Watch out for some more classic cars arriving very soon.  We shall be adding a 1980 Shay Model A Replica (Snowbird Edition), a 1968 Torino & a 1967 Plymouth GTX.  Pictures and descriptions coming soon.

(10/29/05) It's the end of another summer season at the classic car shows.  We've met some great people, swapped many a story and had a good season.  To see where we've been take a look at our  full 2005 show list.  It would be a pretty good guess that we will be back at the same ones again in 2006.  Of course we are  not closed up for the winter, so feel free to stop in and look over any of our cars, also watch for more regular site updates now that we'll have a bit more time.

(09/24/05) It's a busy summer here at Dicks Classic Cars.  There has been much coming & going and  with all the shows we've been attending, there hasn't been much time for updates here on the site.  Sorry to all of you who check back regularly.  Please know we haven't forgotten you all and there will be some car updates coming next week.  Please be patient with us.

(07/12/05) Updated the Stock list, the featured cars, the restorations and the online showroom.

(06/19/05) Another buying trip to California out of the way so watch for an updated stock list coming soon!
